Over time, heavy machinery, constant traffic, and environmental exposure can cause concrete to deteriorate, leading to uneven surfaces, cracks, and structural weaknesses. Addressing these issues early is essential to prevent further damage and ensure a safe working environment.

For this project, our team applied a combination of proven techniques to restore both the integrity and appearance of the concrete. The process began with grinding, which removes high spots and creates a level surface. This step is crucial for eliminating trip hazards and preparing the area for further treatment.

We then carried out bagging, a specialised technique used to remove coatings, smooth imperfections, and prepare the surface to a CSP2–CSP3 profile. This level of preparation is ideal for ensuring strong adhesion when applying epoxy coatings or sealers, ultimately improving the longevity of the repair.

The final stage involved patching, where we filled in deficits, cracks, and inconsistencies using high-quality cement materials. This not only restored the structural integrity of the pits but also delivered a clean, uniform finish across the repaired areas.

Proper preparation played a key role in the success of this project. Ensuring surfaces were free from debris and completely dry allowed each stage of the repair to bond effectively and perform as intended.
